Dan McCarthy has spent the last 12+ years in the Institutional Investment Community in various executive roles and capacities in Investment Banking and Private Equity. Mr. McCarthy has been apart of over $1 Billion in transactional value ranging from Debt, Equity, and Acquisitions and Divestitures. Most recently, Mr. McCarthy was Managing Director at Petro Capital a Dallas-based Private Equity and Investment Bank. Mr. McCarthy’s previous awards include 30 Under 30 & Future Leaders of Texas in 2011 and most recently nominated Top 100 in Finance in 2019. Mr. McCarthy started his career working for a Private International Consulting Firm based in Washington D.C helping Corporations and Funds expand into Non-G7 Countries utilizing World Bank Financing. In addition, the Firm had several investments in precious metals and other natural resources in West Africa. Mr. McCarthy graduated from the University of Kansas School of Business and then completed his Mergers and Acquisitions program at the New York Institute of Finance.
